Brody's Notes... New Poll Shows Voters More Positive About Same-Sex Marriage

By Mark Singer (Washington DC) MAR 4 | Results of a new poll released by the Pew Research Center Thursday show that Independent voters have become more supportive of marriage equality with 51% now in favor of it, up from 37% in 2009.
Conversely, the published results indicate an eight-percentage-point increase in support of marriage equality since 2009 among registered American voters overall. Results show that 45% say Gay & Lesbian couples should be allowed to marry, 46% are opposed, and 9% are undecided.
