Scott Herman Exercise Magazine Cover July 2010 Issue
By Brody Levesque (Washington DC) SEPT 28 | Brooklyn based fitness guru Scott Herman, a former cast member of MTV's 'The Real World,' recently produced a video public service announcement on YouTube in support of The Trevor Project.
The Trevor Project, which operates a 24 hour suicide and crisis intervention hotline for at risk LGBT youth has garnered considerable celebrity support, most notably Daniel Radcliffe, British film star better known to his legion of fans as 'Harry Potter.'
Herman, who is straight, has worked tirelessly to promote LGBT rights and is quoted in the psa saying:
"[The Trevor Project] is an outreach program for people to call in if they're having a hard time and what they do is help these kids, they guide them, they give them the strength to want to live and tell them equality is on its way."
The Trevor Project is holding a fundraising and awareness event in New York on October 21st at which Herman will appear.
