By Brody Levesque (Washington DC) Sept 24| Earlier today I ran an article by BN&S correspondent Tim Trent, reporting on a NY Times piece discussing LGBT youth, and the younger age at which they are now coming out and are striving to be themselves. As Tim noted, there are still huge barriers for them as well as the older generations.
One of these obstacles is an organisation that sees the LGBT civil rights movement as an aberrant and abhorrent lifestyle, a choice, and leaves little room for compromise. Tim, in his article, expressed that there was greater hope in the efforts to gain equality in the United States. This outfit counters his hopes with an extremist message that they convey.
This is the face of that opposition, which does have significant following among the 'Conservative Christian' elements in the U.S., and if you spend time reading through the site, it will leave you wondering how those that are credited here, can espouse allegedly pro-Christian views, as they apparently operate on a basis of misinformation and outright hatred. It makes it quite difficult for the young people to be comfortable, when there are campaigns on-going like this, to counter any real progress by LGBT people and to have sane and rational discussions about the issues that affect all persons in both the Straight & LGBT communities.

I think it is simple, Brody.
A fascist bastard is a fascist bastard however nice a suit he wears.
The Nazis had absolutely the best uniforms in WW2, and the Italians came a close second. But they were still fascist bastards.
This organisation uses the word "truth" but can only spout lies and propaganda. But that is what you expect from fascist bastards.
And the kids will face the fascist bastards, and will face them down.
