By Brody Levesque | WASHINGTON -- There are times when good fiction crosses over into reality, sometimes years ahead of an actual event thus making those writers look positively prescient.
One of the best political dramas ever written and produced for television in recent memory, The West Wing, oft times fell into that category.
As progressives and conservatives both continue to Monday morning quarter back the results of this past Tuesday's election results, I offer this in tribute to the Democratic party politicians, who, like their fictional counterparts, actually conducted themselves as a team, and as group, and bravely fought the fight that needed to be fought and won.

It really was a good show. I sometimes wondered why the writers didn't get into politics themselves.
