Suspect in shooting of lesbian couple via Portland P.D. |
By Brody Levesque | PORTLAND, TX -- Police investigators have released a sketch of the suspect in the shooting of a lesbian teen couple at a public park in this suburb of Corpus Christi last month.
A spokesperson for the Texas Department Of Public Safety told LGBTQNation that a witness described the alleged gunman as a skinny male in his 20s, weighing 140 pounds. The sketch was released late Wednesday by Texas law enforcement agencies participating in the investigation. Mary Kristene Chapa, 18, and Mollie Judith Olgin, 19, were both found June 23 in a park with gunshot wounds to the head. Olgin died from her injuries and Chapa remains in hospital in critical condition. She is conscious and although unable to speak has communicated with family members.
The two women were involved in a romantic relationship, according to their families and friends, although Portland Police Chief Randy Wright told reporters; “There’s no evidence to suggest that this crime was committed as a bias against the girls or their lifestyle."

No, of course there's no reason to think anyone who looks this upstanding might have a bias against gays or lesbians. Anyone can see he's a model citizen who only shoots people because he 'fears for his life'...or is that another state of the Union?
Sadly, I think it was a state of putting an end to a perfectly acceptable and loving union.
