Thanks to Matt for covering the Australian Prime Minister's stance.
Exactly what her own thoughts are on the marriage issue appears to be clouded by religious power brokers who seem to control the Labor Party through its right wing faction.
The opposition party (The Liberal Party) are even worse; more like the GOP.
Our hopes rest with the more progressive 'The Greens Party' who have the balance of power in our Senate.
