I have to wonder about that Catholic school policy. If they really feel that marriage is for a man and a woman, and that therefore they must insist that dates (to a prom) be the same, what would they do if the female came to the prom with a cross dressed male who looked like a female? Surely they would claim that the date needs to look like a male, which then leaves them open to attendance by a same sex date who just dressed like a macho male.
The more they open their mouths to spout their foolishness, the sillier they seem.
