By Brody Levesque (Washington DC) Apr 8 | Kyra Phillips who anchors the 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (ET) edition of CNN Newsroom each weekday from the network's headquarters in Atlanta, today offered an apology for featuring self-proclaimed "ex-gay" expert Richard Cohen on a segment about repealing a California law requiring the state to search for a "cure" for homosexuality, saying that Cohen wasn't the "appropriate choice."
