By Mark Singer | WASHINGTON DC -- In a recent speech to students at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, columnist and LGBTQ activist Dan Savage tells the audience that while he realises branding all Christian believers as "bigots" and homophobic is incorrect, he points out that affirming LGBTQ allies who are Christian need to be more proactive against persons like Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council. Savage warns that Perkins and his kind have hijacked Christianity in America and corrupted its message.
