By Brody Levesque (Washington DC) JAN 20 | It never ceases to amaze me the level of pure disregard that self-professed Christian-Americans have for their fellow citizens who are not. The newly sworn in Governor of Alabama, Robert Bentley, (R), not long after his inaugural in a speech to the Montgomery, Alabama church that civil-rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once preached at, told the congregation, 

“But if you have been adopted in God’s family like I have, and like you have, if you’re a Christian and if you’re saved, and the Holy Spirit lives within you just like the Holy Spirit lives within me, then you know what that makes? It makes you and me brothers. And it makes you and me brother and sister,” he said.

“Now I will have to say that, if we don’t have the same daddy, we’re not brothers and sisters. So anybody here today who has not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, I’m telling you, you’re not my brother and you’re not my sister, and I want to be your brother.”

Subtly implying that Muslims, Jews, and especially the LGBTQ community needn't bother with approaching the good governor. Today, he issued what most would term a non-apologetic apology.

Oh, and then in the spirit of Dr. King, while I'm on the subject, a group of Black ministers, spoke out against the so-called homosexual agenda and its agents accusing them, in fact the entire queer community, of "hijacking" the terms civil rights and equality rights. Here's the video:

Nice eh? Yeah well then today we round the 'hit parade' off with this lovely tidbit of 'Christian" love from the head of a pro-family, anti-gay, alleged Christian group in California, speaking to a reporter from the notoriously rabid anti-gay One News Now website, which is owned and operated by the American Family Association, which includes such luminaries as Bryan Fischer amongst its staffers and which was recently designated a 'hate-group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center for its ongoing demonstrations of vitriolic biased speech that is aimed at the LGBTQ community.

He is beside himself that the new Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered museum has opened in the Castro, in San Francisco. Under the headline which read "GLBT museum celebrates a lie, ignores the truth," here's what was said by Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com:

"This is not so much a museum; this is a propaganda porch," he contends. "There [are] going to be some people who want to believe in lies while they're visiting, but anybody interested in real history is going to find so many pages ripped out of that book."

Thomasson further argues that the museum fails to mention the truth about alternate lifestyles, as it omits information about the AIDS epidemic, sexual crimes, and molestation, as well as the trampling of fundamental and religious rights in the name of "equality." Nonetheless, he believes the museum will continue to receive funding.

"I believe they'll have the money to keep this place open because it will become sort of a Mecca to them," the pro-family leader suggests. "And it's unfortunate -- celebrating a lie instead of acknowledging the truth."

Mecca? Interesting choice of words Mr. Thomasson, are you channeling Rush Limbaugh now? Of course then there's your labeling of documented events in the museum's displays as omitting certain truth(s) as you see fit to call them. Let's actually start with those first shall we then?

I get frustrated and fatigued from the neverending diatribes of these people claiming that molestation is a uniquely Gay trait that the greater LGBTQ community constantly perpetuates on America's youth. Of course, conversely, when not trotting that out they also love to use the term "recruit," which shockingly Thomasson, who has been known to use that rhetorical claptrap, didn't employ in his quoted rant.

Sex crimes Mr. Thomasson?  Although I'm not exactly certain why a museum about the struggles of a disfranchised segment of American society needs to showcase Sex Crimes as you're suggesting. I might think it would be better to showcase hate crimes inflicted on LGBTQ Americans by persons such as yourself who insist that your loving Christian ways will "save" homosexuals and barring that of course, is your barrage of carefully calculated statements and pronouncements that essentially make it justifiable to beat, injure, or even kill a queer person as after all, they're all living in sin and are an abomination. Yes, those messages give disturbed homophobic individuals a licence to engage in those type of behaviours as you're marginalising LGBTQ persons as worthless sinners.

Oh, right, one more item here regarding "Sex Crimes" and of course the implications based on your interpretation Mr. Thomasson-  The United States Department Of Justice, FBI, the Centres for Disease Control, the National Institutes of Health,  along with several other U. S. government agencies in conjunction with the various state and local authorities along with numerous respected universities, mental health professionals, and others have determined through research and studies, that the apportioning of blame if you will for sexual misconduct and crimes, statistically falls on the heteronormal versus homosexual population of the United States and in particular on the subjects of paedophilia and ephebophilia respectively, the overwhelming documented cases of offenders are heteronormal males and females not Gays or Lesbian offenders.

HIV-Aids Mr. Thomasson is on the rise again true. But,  factually established empirical evidence and data shows that the heteronormal community has significantly greater numbers of documented cases versus the LGBTQ community. What is truly sad, is that rather than work towards eradication of this horrible disease, you and your so-called Christan brethren through your biased religious ignorance of reality in regards to human reproduction, call on abstinence and you shriek about sexual education in the schools mirroring the repressive nature of your so-called beliefs, which all leads to sexual perdition that you yourselves have helped to create.
The big lie here is that homosexuality is a cause of HIV-Aids and that the LGBTQ needs to be held accountable for this fact. Simply? You sir are deluded.

Finally, the claims of propaganda and lifestyle. I am going to be brutally honest here. In several places now, principally in the southern U. S., there are a couple of museums that deal with Creationism, calling it the true history of the world. Really? Those museums are simply examples of propaganda that defy science and logic as there is absolutely no concrete proof that a 'God' exists in the form that Christianity calls for.

I should add, that includes the terms Allah, Yahweh, or any other appellation of that particular abrahamic deity which originated from that part of the world  and I see as no more real than the Gods of ancient Greece, Rome, Eygpt or those believed in by the aboriginal people globally.

History is filled with evidence of the harm that organised religions, in particular the three abrahamic branches- Christian, Muslim, Jewish, have wreaked on humanity. Actually, the track-record of organised relgions in terms of reducing this planet's population damn near below viability levels exceeds the 20th century totalitarian regimes of both the Nazis and the communists. { Whom I might add both had considerable propaganda machines.}

Lastly let's talk about "lifestyle" which you people love to call "a choice." I have news for you Mr. Thomasson,
being Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgendered is an inherent trait of being human no different than the colour of one's hair. It is NOT a choice, nor is it a lifestyle. However, you are not born Christian are you? Nope, that's a "choice."

When it comes to being a revisionist of history? You and your kind of ilk win hands down Thomasson. I wonder how may lives could be spared, diseases conquered, children fed, and other forms of human suffering alleviated by the millions of dollars you people spend trying to eradicate the Gay.
