By Mark Singer (Washington DC) DEC 1 | MSNBC's Chris Matthews issued a correction during this evening's edition of Hardball, in regard to 'expert' sources Family Research Council head Tony Perkins had cited during a Monday debate with the Southern Poverty Law Center's Mark Potok, on the programme, which recently named the FRC to their list of hate groups in the United States.
Perkins used statistics from a group of 100 conservative anti-gay doctors who call themselves the American College of Pediatricians not to be confused with the American Academy of Pediatrics which is a 60,000 member of qualified pediatricians.
