Pam Spaulding, the dynamic Durham, North Carolina based LGBTQ activist, commentator, and Editor-In-Chief of the LGBTQ activist website Pam's House Blend, is undergoing major laproscopic hysterectomy surgery this morning. New York City based Joe.My.God's Joe Jervis reports:
By Joe Jervis (New York, New York) NOV 22 | As readers of Pam's House Blend are nervously aware, our pal and fellow blogger Pam Spaulding is undergoing major surgery this morning in North Carolina. Pam's illness is forcing an unpaid leave from her day job, so if you'd like to kick her a few bucks her team has set up a Paypal fund. Best wishes, Pam! We're all thinking of you today.
Bil Browning, the Editor-In-Chief from the Bilerico Project added on his site:
The staff, myself, & contributors at the Bilerico Project wish Pam a speedy recovery. Surgery is never easy and she's been having a rough patch with many health problems lately; hopefully the surgery will keep her back at her keyboard for many more years.
Pam has had to take a month's unpaid leave from her "real job," so if you've got a few dollars to pitch in, please hit up the donate button on her site to help her through this difficult time. You can also send a check to:

From Ms. Spaulding's wife Kate: "I am with Pam now -- she is in her hospital room looking great but very tired and somewhat sore, in spite of meds. She is excited as the surgeon took pics during surgery and gave her copies. Thanks to all 4 good vibes and thoughts sent our way today."
