By Brody Levesque (Washington DC) OCT 18 | In a pre-recorded interview with NBC12 Phoenix anchor Brahm Resnik for the Sunday morning political newshow Sunday Square-Off,  U.S. Senator John McCain(R-AZ) answered Resnik's question regarding the length he would go to in order to oppose the effort to repeal the controversial policy in the post-election 'lame-duck' session of the Senate saying:
"Absolutely I will filibuster or stop it from being brought up until we have a thorough and complete study on the effect of morale and battle effectiveness."
McCain is leading in his reelection effort, with recent polling showing him ahead of his Democratic challenger in the Senate race, former Tucson city councilman Rodney Glassman. The Senator also told Resnik that should the GOP gain a majority in the upper congressional body, he would be selected as Chairman of the Senate Armed Services committee, a position once held by the late Arizona U. S. Senator Barry Goldwater.

And the USA seriously considered that poor specimen of humanity for president. And he considered Palin would make a good vice president after someone shot him in frustration.

Why do old men think they make good leaders?

Not all of them think that; the good ones don't.
