By Brody Levesque (Washington DC) OCT 19 | Meghan McCain, daughter of U. S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) stirred up controversy over the weekend after her comments that U. S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is a "nut-job" and unqualified to seek a U. S. Senate seat during an interview with ABCNews correspondent and anchor Christiane Amanpour on the ABCNews political programme "This Week."
McCain, author of a new book detailing her political campaign experiences during her father's run for the White House two years ago, and columnist for The Daily Beast, sat down with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow and discussed her comments about O'Donnell as well as her views on the LGBT Equality Rights issues, particularly her public disagreement with her Senator father over his stance on DADT.
