By Mark Singer (Washington DC) OCT 20 | Last night CNN Anchor Anderson Cooper interviewed Dan Choi, a former U. S. Army officer discharged this past summer under the DADT policy who reenlisted today at the U. S. Army Recruiting Station Times Square, New York, once the Pentagon announced that it would start accepting openly Gay former servicemembers and others to enlist.
Appearing with former Lt. Choi was Alexander Nicholson, the plaintiff in the DADT case in California, that was at the center of the ruling by U. S. Distirct Court Judge Virginia Phillips who issued an injunction against enforcement of the policy after finding that it violated the constitutional rights of Gays and Lesbians serving or desiring to serve openly.
