By Brody Levesque (Washington DC) SEPT 24 | There seems to be an increasing deluge of new stories recently covering the lengths the so-called pious Christians in the ultra-right are willing to go to prevent LGBT Equality Rights from being realised in the United States. In many cases, the naked hatred and bias seems almost palpable if examples such as Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association, or Brian Brown and Maggie Gallagher of the National Organisation Of Marriage are any indication. Sometimes and sadly, the hope for more positive and upbeat news just doesn't appear to be on the horizon anytime soon and it's very frustrating to cover this imbalance. Then there's the completely ludicrous stories that absolutely make me cringe in disgust such as this story out of Indianapolis, Indiana as reported by Fox59 News:

I'm not even going to watch the video. Anything Brody calls ludicrous is not worth watching, if I value my equilibrium.
The father who runs the bakery which refused the cupcake order has all the mannerisms of a closeted fruitcake with nuts on top. I expect he does cookies with crucifixes for Easter.
