I fully agree that this is sad, but if you think about it, it is even sadder. The Christiban not only want to have religious freedom to do what they want to anyone they revile for supposedly non-Christian attitudes, but they want to also suppress religious freedoms for those of other religions.
Despite claims that it is 'religious freedom' that needs to be protected, they have proven that it is not, it is a pure and simple power play to dominate everyone not exactly of the same mind in all things.
