Look at it this way: What imbecilic deity would send his only son to earth to be flagellated until his flesh was hanging off, have thorns rammed onto his head, and to be hung out to dry for a ghastly death? You just do not do that to your child, especially your only child.
Any reasonable and omnipotent deity would have used the power of a thunderbolt to fry Pilate at the point of condemnation. That would have demonstrated his power all right!
Christianity is a made up cult, and persecutes anyone who gets in its way. So no right thinking person shoudl go near its alleged stance on homosexuality.
